An international event in a sublime environment
Flat out beautiful.
A new event with low elevations and remarkable surroundings. We were tasked to create a clean and contemporary visual identity, brand strategy and website. The solution what an adaptable brand with a module bespoke theme using a custom CMS, which has since been adopted by a range of similar websites. The intent was to make a more accessible and enjoyable end-to-end experience for runners. I lead the design of the identity and website. Air New Zealand quickly signed as a naming sponsor shortly after launching the website. Numerous people had the logo mark we created tattooed on the first year. The event sold out years running which sparked a Runaway series to be created.
