Keep it flowing
As a challenger brand in the New Zealand fuel market, we set out to create an app that built on Gull’s identity and values to achieve the companies objectives. We researched how we could improve the fuelling experience using technology to save customers time and money. The result was Carma, a product designed to offer customers a convenient way to ‘Pump & Pay’ for their fuel by removing any faff or friction and opened new business opportunities to better serve their customer. Though an app never made it to market the insights, ideas and learning helped define a new strategy.
I researched the market, customers, technology and defined a vision of how take the faff out of fuelling, forming insights which lead us to explore the idea of a scalable app, prototyping and testing with users to understand how to best add value and improve their experiences.
