A popular but outdated rewards system was nine months in over time and budget when a third party was let go. I was based in the News Tech department with a team of product people put to the task of delivering a viable MVP for v2 inheriting a complex framework with no handover made it a challenging three months.

We set out to understand the infrastructure and design decisions the prior team had set up. It was using a React Native to form a hybrid web app with a tokenised frontend having some features more refined than others. Our team together with marketing and other stakeholders agreed on requirements and timelines, workshopping, had sprints prototyping, testing, developing, and testing again. I was rapid problem-solving an array of design challenges. I ironed out flows and fixes for the UX, UI and branding while preparing launch assets. Constantly sharing learnings to the wider business.
